I’m an MBA-turned-journalist who loves to learn and teach. Fortunately, writing service pieces, explanatory articles, profiles, and books allows me to do both. At last count, I’ve written 14 business and consumer books, with several more in the works. My work has also appeared in more than 25 consumer, business, and trade magazines, including BusinessWeek, Business 2.0, Woman’s Day, Black Enterprise, Entrepreneur, ePregnancy, and Pages.
Before going freelance, I held several marketing and marketing communications titles at Eastman Kodak Company. Since then I’ve consulted with major national organizations such as Hallmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Frontier Communications, iVillage, Cornell University, and McGraw-Hill, among many others, as well as municipalities, educational institutions, and small and mid-sized firms. For them I’ve prepared everything from case studies to crisis communication plans, websites to award-winning direct mail pieces, and brochures to corporate bios.
I currently reside in a suburb of Rochester, New York, “the friendliest city in the U.S."
