I’m an MBA-turned-writer who left the corporate marketing world at Eastman Kodak Co. to work with fast-growth ventures in need of support. An editor at Macmillan recruited me to rewrite a book on entrepreneurship and my writing career took off from there.
I’ve authored, co-authored, or ghostwritten nearly 80 nonfiction books, mainly about business, self-help topics, and real estate. I’ve worked with traditional publishing houses like John Wiley & Sons, McGraw-Hill, Penguin, Pearson, and others, as well as hybrid firms like Jenkins Group, Greenleaf, and Authority Publishing.
When I’m not ghostwriting books for clients, I’m writing for magazines like Inc., Entrepreneur, Businessweek, Black Enterprise, Realtor, Chief Content Officer, Woman’s Day, Health, and dozens of trade journals.
Online you can find my work at CNN Money, AmEx OPEN Forum, US News & World Report, StartUpNation, and Forbes, where I’m a paid contributor.
Corporate clients that have retained me to craft blog posts and articles for their websites include Staples, PayPal, Chase, PNC, Vistaprint, The Hartford, Prudential, and many others.
Along the way I’ve earned awards for both books and magazine articles I’ve written. Books with my byline and my clients’ have sold in the hundreds of thousands and millions of copies. Single blog posts have garnered hundreds of thousands of clicks.
I have a doctorate of business administration (DBA) from Temple University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a BA with honors from Wellesley College.
